ALTES is intended to serve as a national agricultural field experiments in Sweden. The main purpose is to secure and make these experiments visible. To achieve this, we store contact information about the individuals responsible for the experiments, enabling dialogue if any of the experiments are at risk of being compromised.

SLU will also process your personal data in the manner required for SLU to comply with the rules regarding public documents and the archives of authorities.

Legal Basis

According to Section 6 of the Swedish Agency Ordinance, 2007:515, all Swedish authorities must strive to improve their operations. To do this, it is necessary for us at SLU to handle information about the individuals who register field experiments in our system.

According to the Archives Act and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, all authorities must also ensure that public documents are handled correctly. Personal data concerning individuals who register field experiments in ALTES are considered to be of public interest.

Please note that technical preferences stored locally on your device (see the heading "Technical Preferences and Local Storage") are not held by SLU and therefore cannot be disclosed as public documents.
